CLINTON — Clinton High School is teaming up with Children’s Miracle Network to raise funds and awareness for Batson Children’s Hospital.
CHS is the first public high school in the state to join CMN’s Dance Marathon movement. This campaign involves multiple small fundraisers throughout the school year to raise funds and awareness in the school and community.
“At the end of our marathon at CHS, we will hold a celebratory pep rally,” said event coordinator and CHS teacher Megan Berry.
The celebration event is scheduled for March 29 at CHS.
The Arrowthon fundraising goal is $5,000. Supporters can donate in person on online via https://events.dancemarathon.com/event/ArrowTHON2019.
Students in the digital media program submitted designs to be used as the official logo for Arrowthon, and a planning committee consisting of students and teachers selected the artwork of junior John “Zeke” Griffin. This logo will be used on any materials related to the Arrowthon campaign, and Zeke received gifts from Chick-fil-A and an iTunes gift card.
