Student Council
The primary aim is to create better cooperation, communication, and a closer relationship between students and faculty. The members shall consist of the elected Student Body President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer along with nominated representatives from each original homeroom which students were assigned to at the beginning of the school year.
To run for office, students must: have had an overall average of 85 for the preceding school year, served no suspensions in the preceding school year, not have been assigned to Clinton Success Center or any other alternative school, and receive a majority of the votes in a school election.
Once elected or appointed to the student council, members will be required to adhere to the Constitution of the Student Council Organization of Sumner Hill Jr. High School.
