Arrows at a Glance—May 6, 2022
Keeping up with events across the Clinton Public School District has never been easier.
CPSD will release Arrows at a Glance every Friday as an easy reminder about what's happening around the district.
Below are some things to know around the district.
1. CHS Choir members performed at the William and Elise Winter Celebration of Life
Members of Clinton High School’s choir program joined other high school choral students at the Celebration of Life honoring the late Mississippi Governor William Winter and First Lady Elise Winter.
2. Retirement Celebration for Mr. Anthony Goins scheduled for Sunday, May 22
A retirement celebration for CPSD Assistant Superintendent Anthony Goins will be held on Sunday May 22 in the Library Media Center at Clinton Junior High School. The event is come-and-go and will begin at 1:00pm.
3. Kindergarten & Pre-K 2022-2023 Registration is Open
Registration is open for all students entering Kindergarten next year. Visit the Clinton Park Web Page for more information.
4. City Hall recognizes Clinton High School's Attache's record wins
Mayor Phil Fisher and City of Clinton officials welcomed Clinton's Attache to City Hall to celebrate the show choir's national record-setting 23 straight Grand Championship wins.
5. CPSD to operate the Seamless Summer Option Food Service Program effective June 6-30
CPSD is participating in the Seamless Summer Option Food Service Program (SSO) this summer.
6. Three CHS Cheerleaders sign with Hinds Community College
Three CHS Cheerleaders signed letters of intent to cheer at Hinds Community College.
7. Two Clinton Arrows sign with Hinds Baseball
Two of Clinton's standout baseball players have signed letters of intent with Hinds Community College.
8. Clinton Arrows Athletics Tryouts and Info
Numerous teams for boys and girls are holding tryouts. Visit the Tryout Information page on the Athletic section of the CPSD website to keep up with dates and times.
