Clinton High School to hold graduation on Arrow Field

GraduationWhen the Class of 2021 graduates from Clinton High School, they will do so in unique fashion—on Clinton’s Arrow Field.

This year’s graduation ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm on Friday, May 28 at Clinton High School.

The Class of 2021 will be the first graduating class to celebrate the culmination of their high school academic journey as a collective group on Clinton High School’s campus and the first to graduate on CHS's football field on Arrow Drive.

Last May, graduation was held inside Clinton High School’s auditorium as students walked across the stage in cohorts stretched over four days.

But this year, graduating seniors will cross this academic milestone together.

“We are very excited that we will have this year’s graduating seniors together one last time to close out this unique school year,” CHS Principal Brett Robinson said.

“And having the graduation ceremony on our own campus makes it even more special," Robinson added. "This group of seniors have experienced a once in a lifetime interruption in achieving their academic goals, and they have worked hard to persevere and make it to the end of their senior year.”

In order to follow social distancing protocols, each graduating senior will be given 10 tickets for family members to be in attendance.

The ceremony will be live streamed on the district's webstie, www.clintonpublicschools.com.
