CJHS hires third assistant principal

Dustin Cartee When school returns in the fall of 2020, there will be a new assistant principal at Clinton Junior High School.

 

Dustin Cartee will be the newly added third assistant principal at CJHS. Cartee is currently a teacher at Clinton High School with 7 years of instructional experience.

 

“I am looking forward to working with the best team of administrators and teachers in the state of Mississippi,” Cartee said. “I can’t wait to get to work and continue to build on the standard of excellence at Clinton Junior High School.”

 

Cartee holds a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in history from Mississippi State University. He also holds a specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Mississippi College.

 

“We’re always proud to have strong leadership in our schools, and it’s always a plus when we can promote from within the district,” said Clinton Superintendent Dr. Tim Martin.  “We’re looking forward to working with Mr. Cartee in his new role.”
