CPSD to reopen PowerSchool’s parent portal Tuesday, April 21
CLINTON — The Clinton Public School District will open the parent portal of PowerSchool on Tuesday, April 21, granting parents access to their student’s current grades.
Parents with students at Clinton Park, Northside, Eastside, Lovett and Clinton Junior High School will be able to see final grades for the first three nine-week periods (Q1, Q2 and Q3) as well as the current end of the year average (Y1).
Parents with students at Sumner Hill and Clinton High School will be able to see final grades for the first semester (S1), third nine weeks (Q3) and the current end of the year average (Y1). If a student is currently enrolled in a semester long class, the Q3 grade is the S2 grade.
The Y1-average displayed will be the baseline grade for that student. The final grade will not be lower than the Y1-average displayed.
During this time of distance-based instruction, Clinton students have been given the opportunity to earn up to 10 points to be added to the end of the year average. All earned points will be added at the end of the school term.
If parents have any questions concerning their children’s grades, they are encouraged to contact their child’s school.
Parents who do not have a PowerSchool parent portal account is asked to email [email protected]. Parents will need to provide the name of their child as well as their child’s date of birth.
Parents will need an active account in order to participate in online registration for the 2020-2021 school year.
