CLINTON — Members of the class of 2019 are leaving Clinton High School with nearly $6 million in scholarships to colleges and universities across the country.
This year’s class has 360 graduates, with 155 students accepting $5.9 million in scholarships to 35 colleges and universities throughout the nation. Ninety students are graduating with honors — 26% of the graduating class.
“Our graduating seniors have earned honors in a wide array of academic, athletic and arts competitions,” said Dr. Tim Martin, superintendent of schools. “It's amazing to me to look over this list and see how well our students have represented us this year and throughout their high school careers.”
Graduation will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 24 at the A.E. Wood Coliseum on the Mississippi College campus. Valedictorian and salutatorian will be announced during the ceremony.
