CLINTON — Northside Elementary is gearing up for the annual Arrow Dash 5k Run/Walk and one-mile kids run.
“We are excited about the 9th year for this race,” said Mandy Ambrose, Northside principal. “Not only does it help fund our PTO, it promotes the healthy lifestyle we encourage in our school system and it enables our students and families to engage in a healthy family activity together.“
The event will be held Friday, April 12. Runner/Walker packet pickup begins at 8:30 a.m. and registration (for those not pre-registered) begins at 3:30 p.m. The 5K run/walk begins at 6 p.m. and the 1-mile Glow Run begins at 7 p.m.
The race will start and finish at Northside Elementary School on Arrow Drive. Sisu Race Timing is coordinating the race, and proceeds will benefit school projects including new playground equipment, student behavior incentives and school supplies.
Business sponsorships are needed to make the event a success, and multiple sponsorship levels are available. Sponsor agreements must be submitted on or before March 29. For sponsorship details, contact Meredith Owen at 601-924-7531 or [email protected].
