CLINTON — Trina Johnson has the opportunity to interact with students every day on her bus route.
“Ms. Trina sometimes deals with disrespectful kids but she never gets out of character for them and she always has a lot of patience,” said one student, Kiara.
For her hard work and positive attitude Johnson is the recipient of the Dedication of Our Valued Employees — or DOVE — customer service award for the month of January. She will be recognized at the Clinton School Board meeting on Feb. 12.
“We started this award in 2014 as a way to highlight employees who have a heart for serving others and who demonstrate excellence in customer service,” said Dr. Tim Martin, superintendent of schools. “We appreciate employees like Ms. Johnson who go above and beyond in day-to-day job duties.”
As a DOVE Award recipient she will receive gifts from Chick-fil-A of Clinton, Cock of the Walk restaurant and Playtime Entertainment.
