Law & Public Safety II

Law & Public Safety II will focus on information and skills for careers in public safety. These topics include Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management, Fire Fighter skills, and Emergency Communication (dispatch) services. Students will gain specific skills in first aid, Emergency Medical Responder, Fire Fighter I and II, emergency communications, basic leadership and management principles, and general communication skills. Students will be expected to participate in physically demanding skills training session about once a week and a physical fitness training program. Students will be expected to participate in multiple field trips throughout the school year to enhance their understanding of the curriculum topics.
