PUBLIC NOTICE: Former Clinton Public School District Students who Received Special Education Services and their Parents

Clinton Public School District will destroy special education records for all students who exited on or before May 1, 2021. Records will be destroyed on May 28, 2026, regardless of the type of exit which includes, but is not limited to: transfer to another district/school, refusal of services, dismissal from services, or graduation.

Parents and students may need these records in the future for other purposes such as Social Security benefits or to receive services from the Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services. 

These records are available until the last working day of April 2026 (approximately one month prior to destruction date) to parents or students eighteen (18) years of age or older with proper identification.  Call (601) 924-7541 if you wish to obtain these records.  If you are unsure if you or your child received services during this time, please call for assistance.
