Photo ID Address Must Be Current and Correct
Please be aware that all Parent/Guardian Photo IDs must show the physical address of where both the parent and student reside. The address on the Photo ID must match the address on all proof of residency documents. No exceptions will be made.

Proof of Residency Required for all Students
Parents and guardians will be able to prove residency for the 2026-2027 school year do so on June 23-25 and July 7-9 in the Northside/Eastside Cafeteria from 7am-6pm daily.
Parents of all new and returning students must prove residency prior to the start of the start of school.
Parents must complete the online registration portion prior to proving residency.
To prove residency, parents and guardians must bring a physical copy of their lease, deed, mortgage statement or homestead exemption documentation in the parent’s or guardian’s name.
Parents and guardians must also bring a physical copy of a current water bill, power bill or gas bill in the parent’s or guardian’s name dated within 45 days of proving residency.
Mobile service and internet bills are not considered acceptable utilities.
Students whose parents or guardians have not completed the online enrollment process or who has not proven residency will not be able to receive their schedule on Meet the Teacher Day.
Those who have not proven residency by July 9, 2026, must report to Clinton’s Central Office building on Easthaven Drive accompanied by their student on Monday, July 20, beginning at 8:00am until 11:00am to prove residency and ensure the enrollment process is complete.
Upon completion, students will be assigned a teacher and issued a schedule.
Proof of Residency by Affidavit
Parents and guardians needing to prove residency by affidavit will also be able to do so on site during the June 23-25 and July 7-9 Residency and Registration Fair.
To prove residency by affidavit, both the student’s parent or guardian must be present as well as the permanent homeowner with appropriate photo identification and documentation.
Once the online enrollment process has been completed and parents have proven residency, no other action will be necessary until Meet the Teacher Day scheduled for Thursday, July 16.
Students whose parents or guardians have not completed the online enrollment process or who has not proven residency will not be able to receive their schedule on Meet the Teacher Day.

Registering a New or Returning Student
Parents of students new to the district must enroll their student online, accessing the new student enrollment database by clicking on Registration at the top of the CPSD website and selecting New Student.
Parents with students already in the district will log in to the enrollment database to start their new student’s form. If a parent cannot remember his or her login information, contact registration@clintonpublicschools.com, and that information will be provided.
Parents registering with the Clinton Public School District for the first time will create an enrollment account to begin the registration process.
During the enrollment database process, parents will create the new record of a student and will be required to input necessary student information as well as upload parental photo identification.
Submission of the form will not be accepted until all required documentation is provided.
Once the enrollment database process is complete, counselors from Clinton Junior High School, Sumner Hill or Clinton High School will contact the parent or guardian of the new student to schedule an appointment to complete the enrollment process.
Meet the Teacher Day—Thursday, July 16
Once the online enrollment process has been completed and parents have proven residency, no other action will be necessary until Meet the Teacher Day scheduled for Thursday, July 16.
During this time all PreK-12th grade students will have the opportunity to meet their new teachers and to receive their schedules at their designated campus.
Students whose parents or guardians have not completed the online enrollment process or who have not proven residency will not be able to receive their schedule on Meet the Teacher Day.

121 Vaccination Forms for 7th Graders
The State of Mississippi requires all students entering the 7th grade to provide proof of an updated TDAP (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis) booster. A recent TDAP booster is defined as being administered after the age of seven.
Students may not be enrolled without submission of the required 121 Vaccination Form.
Parents and guardians can present a physical copy of the updated 121 Vaccination Form when proving residency on June 23-25 or July 7-9, or they can turn in their physical copy to CJHS officials during Meet the Teacher Day on July 16.
Anyone needing to locate an updated 121 Vaccination Form can contact their pediatrician, the Mississippi Department of Health or get access to the MyIR Online Database with MSDH at msdh.ms.gov.
