Clinton Public School District

Clinton Public School District’s six-day Annual Residency & Registration dates are fast approaching.

All parents and guardians of new and returning students must provide residency information prior to the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

Parents and guardians can prove residency from 7:00am through 6:00pm on June 23-25, 2026, or July 7-9, 2026, in the Northside/Eastside Cafeteria at 453 Arrow Drive.

To prove residency, parents and guardians must bring a physical copy of a lease, deed, mortgage statement or homestead exemption documentation in the parent’s or guardian’s name.

Parents and guardians must also bring a physical copy of a current water bill, power bill or gas bill in the parent’s or guardian’s name dated within 45 days of proving residency. Mobile service and internet bills are not considered acceptable utilities.

Parents or guardians must provide state issued photo identification showing the physical address of where both the parent and the student reside. This address must be an address within the Clinton Public School District. No exceptions will be made.

Parents and guardians needing to prove residency by affidavit will also be able to do so during this six-day period. To prove residency by affidavit, both the student’s parent or guardian must be present as well as the permanent homeowner with appropriate identification and documentation.

Starting in May, parents and guardians with students currently enrolled in the Clinton Public School District will be able to begin the online registration process for the 2026-2027 school year.

In May, an email with a link providing access to the online PowerSchool Parent Portal will be sent to parents whose students are currently enrolled in CPSD.

Items such as parent/guardian contact information as well as medical and other pertinent information will be collected and can be updated during this online enrollment process.

Once the online enrollment process has been completed and parents have proven residency, no other action will be necessary until Meet the Teacher Day scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Students whose parents or guardians have not completed the online enrollment process or who have not proven residency will not receive their schedule on Meet the Teacher Day.

Those who have not proven residency by July 9, 2026, must report to Clinton’s Central Office building on Easthaven Drive accompanied by their student on Monday, July 20, from  8:30am until 11:00am to prove residency and ensure the enrollment process is complete.

All Registration links can be found on the district’s homepage at www.clintonpublicschools.com. For answers to any registration question, contact registration@clintonpublicschools.com.
