Clinton School Board member to serve on MSBA Board of Directors

Clinton Public School District School Board member Bernard Kines was recently chosen to serve on the Mississippi School Board Association Board of Directors. 

Kines, who has served as a member of the CPSD Board of Trustees since 2020, will serve as the District 2 Director through 2026. 

“It’s truly an honor being nominated to serve on the MSBA Board of Directors,” Kines said. “I’m proud to represent the Clinton Public School District, using knowledge I’ve gained working with a great team of board members and our superintendent, Dr. Andy Schoggin.” 

Kines is a Clinton High School graduate and holds an Associates in Business Administration from Hinds Community College and a Bachelor’s from Mississippi State. He served as president of the CPSD Board of Trustees from 2023-2024.
