Clinton Public School District

Robert Chapman

The Clinton Public School District will hold its Annual Residency & Registration Fair prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year.

This year’s Annual Residency & Registration Fair will take place from 7:00am-6:00pm daily from June 24-26 and July 8-10 in the Northside/Eastside Cafeteria. Entry and parking will be located in the rear of the campus. Please make plans to attend one of these six days.

All students, both new and returning, must have a parent or legal guardian prove residency to complete the enrollment process.

Those proving residency must provide proper photo identification showing the physical address of where the parent and student reside.

To prove residency, parents and guardians must bring a lease, deed, mortgage statement or homestead exemption documentation in the parent’s or guardian’s name. Parent or guardian names must appear on mortgage or lease documents.

Parents and guardians must also bring a current water bill, power bill or gas bill in the parent’s or guardian’s name dated within 45 days of proving residency. Mobile service and internet bills are not considered acceptable utilities.

Parents and guardians needing to prove residency by affidavit will also be able to do so during this six-day period. To prove residency by affidavit, both the student’s parent or guardian must be present as well as the permanent homeowner with appropriate identification and documentation.

Parents and guardians must provide a printed copy. Any online bills must be printed and presented as a physical copy.
Those who have not proven residency by July 10, 2025, must report to Clinton’s Central Office building on Easthaven Drive accompanied by their student on Monday, July 21, beginning at 8:30am until 2:00pm to prove residency and ensure the enrollment process is complete.

***No student will be officially enrolled until all requirements have been fully completed.***

During the Annual Residency & Registration Fair, Apple iPads will be distributed to all incoming 6th graders and Apple Macbooks will be issued to all incoming 9th graders. Ninth graders MUST return their old devices with Apple chargers in order to receive new devices. Appropriate fees will be assessed for any lost items or device damage.
