FINAL EXAMS EXEMPTION POLICY
According to the Lovett Handbook, students who have an overall yearly average of an 80 or higher in either Math, ELA, Social Studies, or Science and who also do not have any forms of suspension (In-School Reassignment or Out of School Suspension) are eligible for exemption from taking their final exams in those subjects. This means that students who are exempt from an exam do not have to attend school on the day of that exam and will be marked "exempt" for attendance that day. The school office will determine who is eligible for exemption the week before exams. Parents and students will then be notified through the student's canvas account. This policy applies to both in-school and virtual students.
Please call the school if you have any questions concerning Lovett's exemption policy.
