• Welcome to Spanish 1!  Knowing a second language is becoming much more imperative for communication in the every-day and business worlds.   It's most fun for me to watch studnets learntheir first langauge and realize they can create their own small conversations in the target language.

I received my bachelors degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Spanish Education. Then, I continued my education there and received a Masters in the Art of Teaching Languages.  I have been teaching for 12 years total with 2 of those years being in Clinton.  This will be my 3rd year to teach these incredible Arrows!  During my studies and teaching, I have lived in Mexico City and Mérida, Yucatán, México for two years, where I met my husband, Noah.  Our family has grown to include two sons, who are an incredible blessing in our lives.

During the school year I communicate with students and parents through Canvas messaging and Remind 101.  Students are given the Remind 101 information on the first week of school.
