The Human Resources department serves all district departments in their efforts to recruit and retain a diverse and competent workforce and to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws to allow the departments to carry out their missions more effectively. The department is also responsible for administering health benefits and coordinating the daily operations of the district's Payroll System including wage garnishments, benefits withholding, recording hours of work, processing time records, compiling payroll statistics, maintaining payroll control records and calculating payrolls.
