Federal Programs
- Title I, Part A – “Improving Academic Achievement” supports Clinton Park Elementary, Northside Elementary, and Eastside Elementary as school-wide Title I schools; provides resources for Methodist Children's Homes; pays for professional development; assists homeless students; and funds a portion of a secretary and a director.
- Title I, Part A - "Neglected" - helps support students who are placed at the Methodist Children's Home in Jackson due to being abandoned or neglected.
- Title II, Part A – "Teacher and Principal Training" funds activities including registration / travel / substitutes / training; and incentives for retention / recruitment of highly qualified staff.
- Title III – “Limited English Proficient Grant” provides resources, translations and professional development.
- Title IV, Part A - "Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grant". There are three components of the Title IV grant: "1. provide all students with access to a well-rounded education; 2. improve school conditions for student learning; and 3. improve the use of technology to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students," (Section 4101).
