    Red Ribbon Week 
    Not only is CJHS taking a stand against drugs, we are also raising awareness against bad decisions and cyber bullying!  
    CJHS Students are encouraged to participate in A RRW Poetry Contest.  The 1st, 2cd, and 3rd place winners will receive iTunes gift cards! You can find out more about the rules of the contest here:  RRW Poetry Contest

    Parents who talk to their teens regularly about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don't!  
    October is cyber bullying and bullying awareness month! 

    CJHS Monthly Character Traits 
    September- Respect
    October- Responsibility
    November- Citizenship
    December- Kindness
    January- Self Discipline  
    February- Integrity
    March- Perseverance
    April- Honesty 
    Each month homeroom teachers nominate one student who they feel display the character trait of the month.  They are awarded a certificate of recognition and a breakfast provided by Chick-fil-A. 
    From the monthly students nominated, one boy & one girl are chosen by teachers to serve as the VIPs for each grade.  These 4 students are awarded a $10 Gift card from Walmart.
