Attache’ Show Choir's Spring Revue
Clinton High School’s Attache’ Show Choir will present its Spring Revue May 3-6 at the Clinton High auditorium. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.
selections will include a mix of popular favorites from many styles of
music and will conclude with their undefeated 2017 competition set. The
Clinton Jr. High Ambassadors show choir will also showcase their 2017
competition set at the revue.
Tickets are $9 and $10 and can be purchased at the Clinton High auditorium from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday April 22, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays beginning April 24 through May 5. To reserve tickets, call the Attaché office at 601-924-0707. For more information, visit attache.org
A Perfect Score
Congratulations to CHS junior
Michael Franks on recently scoring
a perfect 36 on the ACT! Michael is the son of Patricia and
Jeffrey Franks and the second 11th grader to ace this test. He
joins classmate Tanner DeYoung who scored 36 earlier this school
We currently have six students in the junior class
who have qualified for STAR recognition their senior year. A
score of 35 or above gets STAR recognition.
Juniors who have scored 35 include Herleen Kaur, Mary
Madison Pevey, Wesley Thomas and Patrick Vinzant. There are 42
students at CHS who have scored 30 or higher on the
Clinton Band - A Musical Extravaganza
Come out Clinton Band - A Musical Extravaganza! It will be held Thursday, April 13 at 6:30pm in the CHS Gym.
Attache' Golf Tournament
The 16th annual Attache' Golf Tournament will be held Tuesday, May 9 at Live Oaks Golf Club in Jackson. The Attache' Booster Club hosts the tournament to benefit the nationally-acclaimed show choir of Clinton High School.

Clinton Arrow Theatre would like to invite you to Footlights and Fare.

Jim Yen has been selected as CHS class of 2017 STAR Student. Jim scored a 35 on the ACT and
plans to attend Mississippi College this fall. He chose as his STAR
Teacher Mrs. Angel Olinger. They will be honored on April 27 at the Jackson Convention Center.
All-South Honor Band
Congratulations to Mariah Atwood and Chip Pratt
for being selected to participate in the 2017 All-South Honor
Band held on the campus of The University of Southern
Mississippi. Band members from all across the southeastern states
were allowed to audition.
These two sent in tapes in January, were selected
to participate, then had to audition in person for their
positions in one of the three honor bands. Mariah earned a
position in the first band and Chip earned his in the second
band! Incredible placements for their first year to

Congratulations to the Froghead Grill and Chick-fil-A CHS Teacher of the Month of January, Mrs. Anna Bowlin! She received gift cards from Froghead and Chick-fil-A.
Congratulations to the CHS students that have scored a 30 or higher on
Math and Science Tournament
On Friday, February 3rd, CHS took 12 students to the annual Math and Science Tournament at Mississippi College. The group finished 3rd overall for their scores on the math, biology, and chemistry tests. Nickie Tiwari, Tanner Deyoung, Jim Yen, and Herleen Kaur placed second in the afternoon quiz bowl competition. Individual awards include:

Congratulations to the DECA students at Clinton High School on their strong showing at district competition! Of 26 students competing, 24 will advance to the state competition!
Congratulations to the BankPlus VIP students for the 2nd nine weeks. Each nine
weeks, every teacher at the high school and career complex select one student
from their roll to be honored for improvement or continuing to strive in
one of more of the following areas: Citizenship,

National Merit Semifinalists

Congratulations to CHS junior Tanner DeYoung who scored a perfect 36 on the ACT!
is pleased to announce that the Clinton (Miss.) Arrows have officially
been named to the 12th Annual MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by
the Army National Guard, which is in its 12th year honoring football.
This is one of the most prestigious team awards in all of high school
sports and it is an exclusive honor reserved for the top 100 teams
nationwide. In order to be eligible, a team must win a state
championship and be highly ranked in the MaxPreps National Rankings. For
football, only 50 of the country's best are invited and with nearly
17,000 competing varsity teams. This puts the Arrows ahead of 99.9
percent of their opponents!
