  • 8th GRADE CONFERENCES at CJHS

This week, 8th grade students are coming home with a letter explaining how during the week of January 14-18, 2019, each student will meet with an assigned counselor to fill out a four-year plan, and hear the new state graduation requirements for the class of 2023. Parents are invited to attend, if possible, to ensure that each child thoroughly understands graduation requirements and the importance of making good choices. Please call the CJHS Attendance office at 601-924-6250 to reschedule if you are unable to attend. Thank you in advance for helping make the transition from junior high school to high school as smooth as possible for the class of 2023!

  • Mrs. Coles

Mrs. Coles is the recipient of the Clinton Public School District’s Dedication of Our Valued Employees, or DOVE, customer service award for the month of November.

“When I have questions she always helps me get the right answer and always with a smile,” said parent Amanda Carpenter. “She is very kind to the parents and students. She is definitely a good fit for the Clinton schools.”

When parents come to Clinton Junior High School to check their children out of school, Frances Coles is the smiling face they see behind the counter.
