Parents or guardians must provide two proofs of residency to enroll a child in CPSD.

Proofs of residency include:

-       A lease, listing all occupants

-       A mortgage document

-       A filed homestead exemption

-       A water, gas or electric bill dated within the past three months

 Affidavit enrollment requirements include:

• Proof of residency on the person who owns or leases the property including

-       Lease, listing all occupants OR

-       Filed Homestead Exemption form AND

-       A water, gas or electric bill dated within the past three months

• Two proofs of residency in the parent or guardian’s name, with the same address that is on the affidavit, including:

-       A Mississippi driver’s license

-       Car tag registration

-       Water, gas or electric bill dated within the past three months

These documents must be provided to the district before a child can be enrolled by affidavit.
