State Champions!
Congratulations to the Lady Arrow Track and Field Team for winning their second consecutive 6A State Championship.  Not only did they win the title, but the 4x200 relay team broke a 34 year-old state record, and the same girls broke their own state record in the 4x100.

 
Way To Go!
Congratulations to Jenny Loome and Alix Williams for being selected as 2014 ALL-STAR Student and Teacher.  Jenny is the 2014 first runner-up for the STAR Program and received a $20,000 scholarship!

Metro Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to CHS teacher Charlotte Walker on being named a metro Jackson teacher of the year! Ms. Walker was honored at the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership luncheon on Feb. 20.

Essay Contest Winner
Congratulations to 2013 CHS grad Arthi Reddy on winning the statewide essay contest sponsored by the Mississippi Association of Conservation Districts! She was recognized at the MACD 69th Annual Meeting President's Award Luncheon on Thursday, Jan. 23. Arthi is currently enrolled at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her former science teacher, Renee Smith, accepted the award on her behalf.

2013 Family Favorite

Congratulations to Attache' Director David Fehr on being named a 2013 Family Favorite music teacher by Parents & Kids Magazine! This magazine is widely circulated throughout the Jackson metro area and goes home in backpacks with public and private school elementary students each month. It is an honor to be selected for this award, and we’re proud of Mr. Fehr for his hard work with our nationally acclaimed show choir!

Congratulations to the Arrow Marching Band for receiving all superior ratings at the MHSAA Regional Marching Festival, and for winning 1st place in the Pearl Invitational.  They also won first place in the Color Guard, Percussion,  and Visual captions.
